Hero Home Services: Dedicated to Giving Back

%imagetitle% | Hero Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical

At Hero Home Services, serving The Rochester and the surrounding areas, our commitment goes beyond providing exceptional plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical services. We are deeply invested in giving back to the community, participating in local events, supporting charitable causes, and partnering with community organizations. Our goal is to make a positive impact and foster a spirit of unity and support. Supporting and sponsoring military-related organizations is one of our passions, as many of our employees have previously served in some branch of the military.

Community Involvement and Sponsorships

Chamber Memberships: Our membership in the Prior Lake Chamber, Shakopee Chamber, and Woodbury Chamber of Commerce highlights our dedication to supporting regional economic growth and community development. Through these connections, we stay engaged with local businesses and contribute to the prosperity of our area.

Key Community Events:

Toys For Tots: Every holiday season, we participate in the Toys For Tots drive with enthusiasm. For every customer served, Hero donates a new toy or money, and we also host an onsite employee toy drive. This past year, we were thrilled to contribute a $10,000 donation to Toys For Tots, spreading joy to children in need.

Sports and Recreational Sponsorships:

Dinomights 3v3: Our sponsorship of the Dinomights 3v3 hockey event demonstrates our commitment to youth sports and community engagement. This event provides a fun and supportive environment for young athletes to develop their skills and build friendships.

MN AFHT 2024/United Hockey MOH sponsorship: We proudly support local hockey initiatives, promoting sports and healthy activities for the youth. These programs encourage teamwork, discipline, and a love for the game.

Prior Lake Fishing Team: Sponsoring the Prior Lake Fishing Team allows us to encourage outdoor recreational activities and teamwork. Fishing is more than a sport; it’s a way to connect with nature and each other.

Thielen Foundation CHS Field/Softball game: Our sponsorship of the Thielen Foundation’s softball game supports charitable causes and community events. It’s a fun way to give back and bring people together for a good cause.

Local Festivals and Community Gatherings:

Rhythm On The Rails Summer Fest: We love sponsoring the Rhythm On The Rails Summer Fest. This festival is all about fostering community spirit through music and local gatherings, creating lasting memories for all who attend.

Elk Riverfest: Participating in and sponsoring Elk Riverfest allows us to celebrate community culture and engagement. It’s a day filled with fun, laughter, and local pride.

Mpls Music & Movies in the Park: Our sponsorship of music and movie events in the park promotes family-friendly entertainment and community gatherings. These events provide a great opportunity for families to enjoy a night out under the stars.

Educational and Career Support:

MEANT Networking: We participate in MEANT Networking events to support local businesses and community leaders. These events are crucial for building relationships and fostering a supportive business environment.

Holiday and Seasonal Events:

Valentine’s Giveaway: Our Valentine’s Giveaway is a special way we engage with the community during the holiday season. It’s all about spreading joy, appreciation, and a little bit of love to our neighbors.

Giving back allows us to step out of the daily grind of survival mode and realize the abundant gifts we have in this world. Whether that’s a warm home, hot food or a loving family, we are all very blessed.

Giving to others creates a feeling of gratefulness and appreciation for what we have, allowing us to clearly see our impact on those around us. Knowing in our hearts we impacted something important to us gives our lives meaning. At Hero Plumbing, we believe in giving back—making an impact from the inside of our company, out.

Giving Back By Taking Great Care of Our Employees

We also believe that in order for our employees to take great care of our customers, they first must feel that we’ve done the same for them. That’s why we offer top-notch healthcare, retirement and life insurance. It’s equally important that we make sure they have free time to enjoy their family and life outside of work. For us, this isn’t a place where we offer people jobs. This is where amazing men and women come to build a career and make an impact.

Toys For Tots

Hero Home Services is proud to support our community through the Toys For Tots organization. During the toy drive, Hero donated a brand new toy or money on behalf of every customer. Hero also sponsored an onsite employee toy drive and was excited to provide a $10,000 donation to Toys For Tots.

We Make A Difference Locally

Whether it’s renovating the plumbing system in the home of a cancer survivor, donating furnaces to those in need, picking up trash at a local park or painting a garage for Habitat for Humanity, we’re committed to taking care of our neighbors throughout the community.

Farmers Markets

We believe farmers markets build community, and that’s why we are the #1 sponsor of Farmers’ markets in South Minneapolis. Farmers’ markets bring neighbors and small businesses together to chat, eat and learn about local food. They get the whole community out of our homes and talking to each other about healthy living. We feel the world needs more of this and that’s why we give back.
