Earth Day Cleanup

If you didn’t get to take full advantage of Earth Day on Wednesday, you still have a chance! This weekend, there will be an Earth Day Cleanup and a Clean Water Cleanup taking place in your area! Both events are free of charge and are a great way to help promote a more environmentally friendly community!

Earth Day Cleanup

When: Saturday, April 25th, 2015 from 9:30am – 12 noon

Where: Multiple sites throughout Twin Cities

Description: Interested in helping to clean up the city? This is your perfect opportunity. This event is a collaborative effort to clean up Twin Cities’ parks, neighborhoods and bodies of water. We must note: since the Earth Day Cleanup started in 1995, over 140,000 pounds of garbage has been removed!

Clean Water Cleanup
When: Sunday, April 26th, 2015 from 9am – 12 noon
Where: Prior Lake, Minnesota
Description: The Clean Water Clean Up is an environmentally focused event where volunteers rake leaves and other yard waste in Memorial Park for composting. Volunteers will receive a free lunch, t-shirt, and can win prizes. So if you want to make a positive impact on our community and our planet, head on down this Sunday!
