Summer will be over before we know it, but that doesn’t mean it’s time to break out the sweaters and boots just yet. We still have the entire month of August to enjoy warm weather and everything summer has to offer. See below for a list of events taking place in the Twin Cities over the next month that you definitely won’t want to miss:
Uptown Art Fair
Let your creative juices flow at the Uptown Art Fair taking place Friday, August 4th through Sunday, August 6th. Over 350 artists and 25 food stands will be making their way into town to set up for the massive 3-day art fair. Don’t forget to check out the Kitchen Window Culinary Arts Competition while you’re there!
Minnesota State Fairgrounds
Would it really be summer if you didn’t plan a trip to the fair? With fried food, baby piglets and live music, you can’t go wrong. Check it out from August 24th through September 4th.
Run a 5k at Night
This year, the Glo Run will be taking place on Saturday, August 26th. While most 5k races take place in the morning, this one is geared toward the night owls. The course will be filled with black light zones, glow sticks, lasers and live DJs.
