We’re going to take a guess that you can’t stand cleaning the bathroom. Don’t worry you’re not alone. Between the toilet, the faucet and the bathtub there are lots of other things we can think of that sound more appealing than rolling up your sleeves and scrubbing away. The tips below may change your attitude towards cleaning, or at the very least, make your job a little easier.
Blast through grime and soap scum: Windex or standard bathroom cleaner not doing the trick? Try mixing a few tablespoons of baking soda with two cups of warm water. Spray it onto the dirty surface and wipe clean with a rag or microfiber cloth.
How to keep chrome clean: chrome fixtures have become a staple in bathrooms across the country and they look spectacular when they’re clean. But fingerprints, toothpaste and soap residue can really take a toll on the finish and make a bathroom look dirty or grimy. Wipe them down with a fabric softener sheet for a quick shine.
Fight back against ceiling mildew: when was the last time you gave your ceiling a scrub? Probably never, right? Well, take a look up – you’ll probably notice some mold or built-up grime. To get rid of it, mix equal parts water and white vinegar. If you can reach, use a sponge to scrub the ceiling otherwise a long-handled mop should work.
Now that the bathroom is sparkling clean, you can sit back and relax in the tub and admire your work. That wasn’t so bad, right?
