A Customer Care Specialist at Hero is responsible for handling incoming customer concerns, making outgoing “Happy Calls”, and processing membership cancellations. Candidates who will thrive in this role enjoy problem solving, finding creative solutions to help customers, and collaborating with team members. They are also great at acting decisively and displaying confidence in a fast-paced environment.

  • Shift can vary between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm based on business needs

Essential Job Duties
  • Be the first line of contact for customers concerns and resolve them efficiently and effectively
  • Project a positive and memorable image to customers and team members
  • Be a resource for team members and management for all escalated issues
  • Assist in maintaining membership plans with customers
  • Track data collected through concerns and making “Happy Calls”
  • Provide feedback to management regarding the customer experience

  • Demonstrates Hero core values at a high level (T.R.U.E.)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving and criminal record
  • Able to communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely in both verbal and written forms
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships
  • Ability to determine and shift priorities quickly
  • Demonstrates outstanding problem solving and quick decision-making skills with a professional demeanor and sense of urgency
  • Ability to deescalate intense emotional responses from our customers and come to reasonable accommodations to meet their needs
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
